About
I got my first Amstaff in 2011 after years of being involved with all kinds of animals growing up. My background is in horses, but I made the switch to dogs in my early twenties and haven't looked back since. I wanted an all around, "do everything" kind of dog, that was also flashy, pretty and a great family dog and landed on the Amstaff.

We are a small kennel so only keep a select few dogs at a time. All of my dogs are raised in the home as part of the family, and I expect the same from any of my puppy owners. My goal is to produce happy, healthy and sound dogs that are great breed ambassadors. My own dogs compete and are titled in AKC conformation, as well as various dog sports. Amstaffs are a breed that can excel at just about anything with the right handler and training.

The name Alpenglow stems from the beautiful sunrises & sunsets at our home that we've grown to love. It's also a nod to my love of red dogs, which you will see a lot of here!
